Art and Music

Art and Music Program was proposed to provide opportunity for AIDS orphans and other children in the implemented communities to learn about art skills as well as apply all learned skills in their studies and lives. As nowadays, almost educational policies universally recognize the value of arts since the purposes of education are not solely to prepare children for jobs but to prepare them to be citizens, to be human beings who can enjoy the deeper form of beauty. Though art does not directly solve problems, but it will make students aware of their existence and learn to face all the problems creatively.

Involvement in the arts is associated with gains in many other skills which will benefit children in their studies such as in math, reading, cognitive ability, critical thinking and verbal skill. Arts learning can also improve children’s motivation, concentration, confidence and teamwork.
